For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah used Abu Bakr’s example to show that real strength can come with gentleness and humility. He welcomed correction, treated honesty as a trust, and took responsibility for protecting the rights of people who were vulnerable. The khateeb encouraged us to choose our influences carefully, looking for truthful conduct and accountability rather than trusting appearances alone. He also urged young people to pursue marriage in a halal way and asked parents to avoid making it unnecessarily difficult. As a family, we can practice these lessons by telling the truth, accepting correction, and quietly helping someone who needs us.
