For the dinner table

Today we learned that Prophet Muhammad's mission was built on mercy, patience, and care for people. The khutbah showed this through his gentleness with children, his hope after being attacked in Taif, and his forgiveness when he returned to Mecca with power. We were reminded to bring that character into our speech, families, work, and relationships with neighbors, Muslim and non-Muslim. We can ask Allah to make us people of mercy and to bring relief to those suffering in Gaza and Sudan.
