These first ten days of Dhul Hijjah are a special chance to draw closer to Allah through worship and good deeds. The khateeb connected them to Hajj, the sacred month, the end of the Islamic year, and the Day of Sacrifice. He taught that qurbani is more than buying an animal: it remembers Ibrahim's willingness to give what he loved for Allah, and it should lead us to generosity and care for the poor. Families can use this season to make dua for one another, reflect on the past year, and share qurbani meat with others. Those who are able should arrange their qurbani and join the community for prayer and worship.
