The khutbah teaches that loving the Prophet Muhammad means giving his guidance priority and following his example. The speaker connects this message to the change of the qibla and to the Quranic call to follow the Messenger so Allah will love us. He asks us to carry that love into cleanliness, manners, speech, reactions, and small Sunnahs such as eating with the right hand. He also encourages regular salat and salam upon the Prophet as a way of drawing closer to him. The khutbah closes with prayers for forgiveness, peace, relief for suffering people, unity, and Jannatul Firdaus.
