The khutbah taught that being a good Muslim includes being a good neighbor. This applies to Muslim and non-Muslim neighbors alike, and it means avoiding harm, disturbance, and disrespect. At the mosque, this includes following parking instructions and not cutting through nearby properties. We should also go further by sharing food, asking about neighbors, and helping them. Our worship should make us kinder and safer for the people around us.
