For the dinner table

The khateeb reflected on Hajj as a journey that can teach us purpose, trust in Allah, and humility. He used Hagar’s search for water to remind us that faith includes taking action while trusting Allah. He described Arafat as a gathering where people seek Allah’s forgiveness and learn about themselves and their shared humanity. He encouraged us to let these lessons change our behavior, especially by becoming more patient and less harsh. Even if we never make Hajj physically, we can grow closer to Allah through sincerity, remembrance, learning, and love for others in our community.
