The khutbah reminds us that anger can burn through our good deeds and damage even close relationships. The speaker says real strength is controlling ourselves when anger rises, not overpowering someone else. If we wrong Allah, tawbah means recognizing the sin, regretting it, and sincerely trying not to return to it; if we wrong a person, we must also seek that person's forgiveness. Because worldly life passes quickly, disagreements are not worth trading away our hope for Jannah. We should work toward reconciliation, forgive others, and ask Allah to make our anger useful rather than destructive.
