The Prophets & seerahFrom the masjid's own video, Oct 3, 2025.

Follow the Prophet's example every day

“If we don't understand how we are going to get guidance, that's a big question.”

The khateeb, at 9:16

In one sentence

The life and Sunnah of Muhammad should be followed every day, not merely commemorated on 12 Rabi al-Awwal, through understanding revelation, improving worship and character, and conveying his message.

For the dinner table

The khutbah taught that Prophet Muhammad’s life should be remembered and followed every day, not only on a special date. It encouraged us to understand the Quran and hadith, because guidance is difficult to live by if we do not understand the message. We were reminded to imitate the Prophet in prayer, manners, family life, work, and other parts of life, including giving enough time to stand after ruku and sit between sujood. The sermon also called us to share Islam’s message through Quran translations and to honor the deceased with Janazah and dua.
