The khateeb taught that a Muslim's worth is not measured by wealth, family, or social status, but by faithfulness to Allah. He called this faithfulness wafa: staying loyal even when obedience is difficult or costly. Through examples from Ibrahim, Ismail, the Prophet, and the Companions, especially Sa'd, he showed that true faith becomes visible when a person gives what they have and responds when service is needed. We were encouraged to stay faithful to the Sunnah and serve with whatever we can offer, whether time or money. The goal is to be ready to give for Allah's sake and remember oppressed Muslims in our prayers.
