Love the Prophet by living his Sunnah

“How do we live the legacy of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam everyday.”

The khateeb, at 14:46

In one sentence

True love for Prophet Muhammad is shown not mainly through debating or celebrating his birth, but by living his Sunnah through Qur’an, unity, family care, justice, compassion, and daily character.

For the dinner table

Imam Mohammed Faqih asked us to think about what the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, would want from us today. He urged us to honor the Prophet by following his example, living the Quran, strengthening our families, and bringing Muslims together. He reminded us that good character matters especially when someone upsets us, and that kindness begins with how we treat our families and community. He also called us to stand for justice and respond to the suffering of others, especially people in Gaza. His message was to let our love for the Prophet motivate us to do our best and keep improving, without expecting perfection.

  1. When someone upsets you, what could help you respond with kindness?
  2. What could our family do together to help someone who is struggling?
