Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that Prophet Muhammad was known for truthfulness, trustworthiness, and mercy. The speaker said faith is incomplete when worship is separated from good character. We were encouraged to make life easier for others, show sincere love at home and among fellow believers, and protect neighbors and coworkers from our harm. These qualities should appear in private as well as public, in our words and actions. The closing prayer asked Allah to help us become better believers and better human beings while remembering Muslims facing suffering.

  1. What is one way you could make someone’s day easier this week?
  2. How can we show love at home through a small action?
  3. What should people around us feel when they interact with us?
