“their jannah in this world was rasulullah and in the hereafter their only desire for jannah was the companionship of rasulullah”
Talk about it at home
For the dinner table
Today's khutbah reminded us that Allah sent the Prophet Muhammad as a teacher, a purifier of hearts, and an example of beautiful character. Loving him means learning about his life and trying to follow his way in worship, family life, and hardship. The sermon also reminded us not to let work, money, or daily worries push faith out of first place. The companions longed for closeness to the Prophet, and the khutbah connected that hope with obeying Allah and His Messenger. This week, our family can read part of his seerah and practice one quality such as patience, fairness, or kindness.
- What is one quality of the Prophet you would like to practice this week?
- What helps you keep daily worries from becoming more important than faith?
- How can our family show better care for relatives and one another?
