For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us to prepare now for the Day of Judgment by nurturing our faith, rather than assuming a Muslim name is enough. He urged us to care for what others entrust to us, tell the truth, keep promises, and remain respectful during disagreements. He encouraged us to visit the masjid beyond Jumu'ah and ask Allah to strengthen our iman. He described charity as a proof of faith and called us to pair our du'a for people in Gaza with practical help within our capacity. He ended by praying for homes filled with peace and love, and for us to become good examples through our treatment of relatives, children, neighbors, and others.
