Quotes
In the khateeb's words
“We try to show initiative We try to show that I take on problems I don't stay back, I'm always active I have a solution”
“your families deserve the best amongst you your families deserve the best of your manners to anyone that you could ever face in this earth”
“Allah's mercy is so wide and you're trying to turn it into a very narrow thing”
“Indeed I was sent with only one mission To bring the akhlaq To its ultimate destination The highest destination”
Talk about it at home
For the dinner table
Today’s khutbahs reminded us that faith should make us eager to do good, not passive. The stories of Ukasha and Nusaybah showed people who stepped forward when they saw a chance to serve Allah, even when it was difficult. We were also reminded that the Prophet Muhammad’s mission included perfecting noble character. That character begins at home, so our families should receive our best kindness, patience, and service. We should carry the same manners into the mosque, workplace, roads, and every encounter, remembering that Allah’s mercy is wide.
- What is one good thing you can take initiative to do this week?
- How can we show our family our best manners today?
- Where could we practice patience and mercy, in the mosque, at school, at work, or on the road?
