For the dinner table

Brother Hani reminded us that the closeness to Allah we worked on during Ramadan can keep growing throughout the year. He described the sacred months and the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah as opportunities to seek Allah’s mercy and do more good. He encouraged us to make a clear intention, give special attention to the day of Arafah through fasting and asking Allah for help, and increase prayer, Qur’an reading, charity, and dhikr. Even small acts matter, including a smile or helping others ourselves. As a family, we can choose something manageable to do together and keep remembering Allah after these special days end.

  1. What is one Ramadan habit you would like us to bring back together?
  2. Who could you help or welcome with a smile this week?
  3. What small extra good deed could we make time for during Dhul-Hijjah?
