Shaykh Ahmed Billoo reminded us that small acts of goodness can make a meaningful difference. A cheerful greeting, a sincere dua, or a little practical help can brighten someone's day. He shared how an old prayer video continued helping someone years later, and how a man's kindness inspired his daughters to give to the masjid. We may never see all the good our actions bring, but Allah knows every good deed. When we cannot offer help, we can still avoid causing harm, including by staying quiet so others can listen to the khutbah. He also encouraged the community to support people suffering in Gaza and Sudan.
