The khutbah reminded us that the Day of Arafah is not only for people who are on Hajj; it is a chance for all of us to turn back to Allah. Allah gives us repeated opportunities for forgiveness, but we must respond with sincere regret and action. In the days before Arafah, we should fast, pray, make dua, remember Allah often, renew our faith, and avoid sins. We should also be generous with zakat and sadaqah, helping the mosque and relatives in need. The goal is to meet Allah with a heart that has chosen Him over distraction and worldly attachment.
