The khateeb reminded us that we naturally pick up habits from the people around us, often without noticing. He explained that Allah has given us the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as our role model and that following his example expresses our love for Allah. The sunnah guides everyday life, including eating, sleeping, leaving home, and treating other people, as well as prayer and Hajj. He encouraged us to spend time with people who practice and teach the sunnah because our surroundings shape our habits. As a family, we can help one another learn the Prophet’s way and bring it into our daily lives.
