The khutbah teaches that Allah created people with a natural disposition to recognize Him, though society and surroundings can influence that disposition. Khadijah described the Prophet as someone who maintained family ties, helped people in need, cared for guests, supported those facing hardship, and spoke truthfully. His generosity also meant giving people time and listening without interrupting. He respected both elders and children and showed that even a smile can be an act of charity. The family can follow his example by listening carefully, helping others, honoring people, and noticing small opportunities to do good.

  1. When was a time someone listened carefully to you, and how did it make you feel?
  2. What small act of kindness could our family do for someone this week?
  3. How can we show respect to both younger and older people in our home?
