The khutbah taught that FOMO can make us compare our lives with carefully chosen images online and chase worldly success at the expense of faith. The Prophet's guidance points us toward qualities that matter more than what we miss in this world. The speaker explained fulfilling our trusts, speaking truthfully, and showing good character, especially under pressure. A blessing, relationship, prayer, or personal ability is an amanah that Allah will ask us about. Even when honesty or kindness costs us an opportunity, keeping Allah's pleasure is the greater success.

  1. What is one blessing in your life that you should treat as an amanah?
  2. When has social media made you feel you were missing out?
  3. What helps you show good character when something upsetting happens?
