The khutbah in 6 steps

  1. Opens with praise, taqwa, and Jumu'ah as a time for remembrance and learning.
  2. Reflects on the Prophet's 63 years, mercy, character, trustworthiness, and prophetic mission.
  3. Defines love of the Prophet as more than emotion or theology: it must become action.
  4. Uses Qur'anic verses and hadith to connect love with obedience, forgiveness, and companionship.
  5. Applies the message to daily behavior, intentions, family responsibilities, and the five daily prayers.
  6. Closes with supplications for believers, Gaza and Palestine, followed by salah and announcements.
