For the dinner table

The khutbah reminds us that this world is temporary, while the akhira lasts forever. We should work, earn halal money, and care for our families, but wealth should never control our hearts or make us neglect worship. Allah’s gifts should also become a means of helping people through zakah and generosity. We should stay content, ask Allah for help, and never look down on someone who has less. The goal is to use the dunya wisely while keeping our deepest love for Allah.
