Talk about it at home
For the dinner table
Today’s khutbah reminded us that Prophet Muhammad was sent as a mercy to all the worlds. His gentleness with Anas and even with the palm-tree shows how deeply mercy shaped his character. If we truly love him, that love should appear in our actions: learning his seerah and gradually practicing his Sunnah. We can begin with one small Sunnah, keep it consistently, and build from there. The speaker also gave hope that sincere love for Allah and His Messenger can bring us into the company of those we love.
- What is one Sunnah you would like to practice this week?
- What can we learn from the Prophet's kindness toward Anas?
- Why is learning about someone important if we want to love them?
