For the dinner table

Today, Imam Kashif reminded us that our lives are a test and that we should prepare to meet Allah through our everyday choices. He highlighted three barriers to Paradise: pride, betraying trust through misuse of wealth or shared resources, and taking loans without intending to repay them. He explained that humility means accepting the truth and treating others with respect, rather than feeling superior because of money or position. He urged the community to care for entrusted resources and invest in people, their education, and good causes. He also distinguished sincere borrowing with real efforts to repay from deliberately avoiding repayment, and encouraged prompt payment when we can afford it. He ended by asking Allah to help us live humbly, honor our responsibilities, and care for those who are suffering.
