Today's khutbah reminded us that each of us is responsible for our own choices, even when people around us make doing the right thing difficult. The khateeb explained that Allah knows our efforts and judges them fairly. He encouraged us to leave good behind through lasting charity, beneficial knowledge, and caring, active involvement in raising children. We can take part by sharing something useful we have learned, supporting our children in doing good, and helping anyone in need. As a family, we can think about how to use our time and resources so that the good we do continues beyond our own lives.
