For the dinner table

The khutbah reminded us that real success is not having the most money or possessions. Success means believing in Allah, obeying Him, controlling our desires, and preparing for the akhirah. Wealth can be good when it stays in our hands and serves our families and communities, but it becomes harmful when it takes over our hearts. Since life is temporary, we should invest our time, money, and choices in deeds that Allah loves.

  1. What is something you enjoy that should stay in your hands and not take over your heart?
  2. What does living like a traveler in this world look like for you?
  3. What is one good deed you could invest in this week?
