For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that our words can hurt relationships or bring people together. The imam encouraged us to check what we hear before sharing it, especially in messages and on social media. We do not need an opinion on everything, and it is okay to admit that we do not know enough. Following the Prophet’s guidance means speaking what is good and practicing silence when our words would not help. Saying sorry and letting go of arguments can help us care for our hearts, our families, and our community.
