The khutbah teaches that Prophet Muhammad is one of Allah’s greatest blessings to humanity because he showed people how to live Islam. Loving him means obeying and honoring him, sending blessings upon him, and never worshipping him, since worship belongs only to Allah. Our love can grow by learning his appearance and noble character and by remembering the sacrifices and mercy he showed while bringing Islam to people. We can show that love through the Sunnah in worship, family life, friendships, work, and treatment of neighbors.
