Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

The khutbah teaches that justice is not just an idea for courts or governments; it begins with each of us. We should put Allah first, follow His guidance, and ask what He wants before making decisions. We should also treat our bodies, minds, families, friends, neighbors, and communities fairly. Real change starts small, with our own habits and homes, and grows through patient, forgiving, responsible relationships. When people make honest mistakes, we should give them room to improve rather than quickly condemning them.

  1. What is one fair choice you could make this week at home?
  2. How can we give someone the benefit of the doubt?
  3. What is one habit or type of media you may need to reconsider?
