For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that living as Muslims includes a daily effort to guide our desires and choices toward what pleases Allah. He explained that Allah has given us a faith we can practice, with ease and allowances when circumstances become difficult. Our connection to Ibrahim and our identity as Muslims call us to show honesty, fairness, and care in our homes and communities. He encouraged us to make prayer central, support others, and stay close to Allah, including through small, regular family reminders after salah. He also urged families to protect children by keeping any guns at home locked up and inaccessible to them.
