For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that Eid is a gift to celebrate and that its joy should extend beyond our visit to the masjid. He encouraged parents to make time for their children so they can experience and value our celebrations. He also urged us to spend time with our parents, or call them when we cannot visit, because these moments become precious memories. Ramadan showed us that we can make extra effort in worship and kindness, and its ending does not close the doors of Allah's mercy or repentance. We can carry that effort forward through small, steady deeds, such as reading Quran, giving charity, praying extra, or making someone smile.

  2. What would you like to talk about or do the next time we spend time with an elder in our family?
  3. What small good deed could we help each other keep doing after Ramadan?
