Love the Prophet by living his Sunnah
“Love of the Messenger is to adhere to his way in its pure state, openly as well as in solitude.”
In one sentence
Love for Rasulullah is not merely a verbal feeling but a faith-rooted commitment to know his life, follow his Sunnah, and embody his character.
The khutbah in 6 steps

“We have time for so many other things. Why not time for Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam? When we need him the most.”
“Love of the Messenger is to adhere to his way in its pure state, openly as well as in solitude.”
“Reviving his sunnah is to truly love him in one's heart, one's words, and one's mind.”
Talk about it at home
For the dinner table
Love for Rasulullah is more than saying that we love him. We show it by learning his life, following his example, and bringing his qualities into our own behavior. The khutbah reminds us that the Companions loved him more than wealth, family, and even themselves. We can begin by making regular time for seerah and hadith, then practicing one Sunnah with sincerity. Following the Prophet is also how we show love for Allah and seek guidance in this life and the next.
- What is one thing you would like to learn about Rasulullah’s life?
- Which Sunnah could our family practice more consistently?
- How can we show love through our choices, not only our words?
