Stand for truth with prophetic character

“When we're looking for paradise, in dunya, we're already messing up as Muslims, as believers.”

The khateeb, at 32:43

For the dinner table

The khutbah taught that a believer should recognize evil and distorted truth rather than becoming numb to it. The story of Moses and Pharaoh showed that truth may face propaganda, fear, wealth, and threats, but oppression does not have the final word. The khateeb urged the community to develop prophetic character: speak with wisdom, care for grieving people, avoid careless religious judgments, and welcome newcomers. He reminded us that worldly life is meant to contain tests, so lasting comfort is not found in money or status. Our hope is to stay close to the Qur'an and Sunnah, strive honestly, and meet Allah with deeds He accepts.
