For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that we can work hard, study, and enjoy Allah’s blessings while keeping our hearts close to Him. The danger comes when possessions, appearances, and competition distract us from prayer, gratitude, and the next life. We can bring faith into everyday activities by asking Allah for help, using our talents to serve others, and sharing what we have. Balance also means caring for ourselves and our families while giving worship its place. As a family, we can let our prayers remind us of what matters and help us turn our success into kindness and service.
