For the dinner table

Today's khutbah invited us to learn from Prophet Ibrahim's love for Allah and his trust during difficult moments. He cared deeply that his family would keep praying, remain close to Allah, and be grateful for what they received. The khateeb reminded us to care about who our children become as well as their education and daily needs. Even while building the Kaaba with Ismail, Ibrahim asked Allah to accept their work, showing how much that relationship mattered to him. We can follow that spirit by choosing good company, thanking Allah, and continuing sincere good deeds even when we cannot yet see their results.

  2. What blessing did you enjoy today, and how could you show Allah your gratitude for it?
  3. What small good deed would you like to keep doing even if nobody notices?
