For the dinner table

Shaykh Waseem reminded us that inviting people toward Allah begins with caring about them and wanting goodness for them. He described how the prophets taught with patience, wisdom, and gentle words, including Ibrahim's respectful way of speaking to his father. Even when we disagree, we should avoid insults and keep our purpose focused on helping people. When we see something wrong, we should consider what we can do and whether our response could make things worse. He encouraged us to share what we understand, welcome people into our mosques, and let our character, behavior, and words help others find guidance.

  1. How could you offer a helpful reminder to someone without embarrassing them?
  2. What would you show or explain to a friend visiting our mosque for the first time?
  3. What is one good thing you understand about Islam that you could share kindly this week?
