Allah judges the heart, not appearance

This khutbah teaches that Allah looks beyond appearance, wealth, and status to our hearts and deeds. The stories of the garden owners and the archers at Uhud show how greed, divided intentions, and disobedience can bring loss. The speaker reminds us that true honor comes from righteousness, not worldly standing. A sound heart, faithful, sincere, and free from corruption, shapes a sound life. We should regularly examine our intentions, obey Allah, and work to purify our hearts.
- When might people judge someone by appearance or wealth instead of character?
- What can we do this week to check and purify our intentions?
- What lesson from the archers at Uhud can help us resist distraction or greed?
