For the dinner table

Today, the khateeb invited us to learn from the bee and the guidance Allah has given it. He reminded us to follow the Qur’an and Sunnah, beginning with our obligations, including prayer, zakah, honesty, and keeping trust. Just as a bee consumes what is pure, we should care about our food and earnings, as well as what we watch, hear, and the company we keep. Like honey that benefits people, our different good deeds can help others through teaching, giving, and mending relationships. We should bring kindness wherever we go, avoid causing harm, and keep doing small good deeds consistently while supporting one another.

  2. What is one way you could help someone with a skill you already have?
  3. What small good deed could our family practice together every day?
