The khateeb taught that the best friendships are built for Allah's sake, not merely on shared interests. Good friends help each other worship, offer gentle advice, and remember the Hereafter. Because everyone makes mistakes, we should look for excuses and avoid constantly searching for faults. We should also support our friends with our time, effort, money, prayers, and practical help.
