Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that our faith should show in how we speak and treat people. He encouraged us to speak humbly with our parents, check information before sharing it, and avoid rumors, mocking, and backbiting. Our prayers, fasting, and charity should help us become kinder neighbors and people whose words and actions do not hurt others. He also warned that harming people carries consequences in the Hereafter, even when we have done many acts of worship. Good manners take practice, and when children see love, patience, and respect at home and in the masjid, we leave them a beautiful example of Islam.
