For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that Muslims love Isa, Jesus, and Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon them, and believe in all of Allah’s prophets. The khateeb explained that love shows itself through actions and following their teachings. He highlighted worshipping Allah alone, keeping up prayer, giving zakat, being dutiful to parents, and sharing peace. A small disagreement over a parking space became an example of responding calmly and kindly. He also encouraged young Muslims and converts to find joy in their faith and its celebrations, and ended by praying for sincere love, guidance, and unity.
