For the dinner table

Imam Arsalan reminded us that worries about bills, work, and the future are real, and that Allah is our provider. Rizq includes money, but also health, knowledge, a loving family, a peaceful home, and contentment. We ask Allah for halal provision and barakah, so that what we have brings benefit and is sufficient for us. The khutbah encouraged us to live with taqwa, sincerely seek forgiveness, protect our prayers, and remind our families to pray with patience. Gratitude means recognizing Allah’s gifts, thanking Him, and using those gifts to help others. Trusting Allah goes together with making an effort, being honest in our dealings, and giving charity consistently, even when we can only give a little.
