Today’s khutbah reminded us that the Prophet Muhammad was a bright guide sent to teach people how to live close to Allah. He was courageous when needed, but also gentle, humorous, and attentive to people who were hurting or overlooked. His love extended to Muslims who would come generations after him, including us. The story of the Ansar teaches us that closeness to the Prophet and his guidance is worth more than worldly possessions. We should follow his sunnah, show care to others, and turn to his example when we feel lost or spiritually distant.
