For the dinner table

Dr. Ramzi reminded us that Allah does not judge us by things like our height or skin color. He encouraged us to look honestly at habits we can work on, such as impatience, stinginess, arguing, ingratitude, and arrogance. His main message was that purifying our souls takes effort: we can practice patience, give to others, listen with understanding, and become more humble. He also reminded us to keep hope in Allah when life is difficult and appreciate the blessings we have. As a family, we can help each other understand and live the Quran by choosing small changes and trying our best.

  1. When was it hard to be patient today, and what could help next time?
  2. What is one blessing you appreciated today that you sometimes overlook?
  3. What could we share this week to practice the generosity Dr. Ramzi encouraged?
