For the dinner table

The khateeb encouraged us to learn about Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, with the intention of growing in love for him. He explained that halal and haram matter as a foundation, and that our faith also needs the beauty of love and the spirit of the Prophet’s teachings. He warned us against getting caught up in arguments and treating people harshly when we disagree. Remembering the suffering of our brothers and sisters in Gaza, he urged us to unite around what matters. He prayed that our communities bring hearts together and help young people love Islam and the Messenger.
