The khutbah teaches that Islam is not only about performing acts of worship, but also about becoming people of good character. Fasting should train us to control anger, avoid lies, and respond to others with patience and dignity. The Prophet Muhammad is our example because he treated people kindly and did not scold those he served. Good manners are highly valued by Allah and can bring a person close to the Prophet in the Hereafter. We should practice these qualities every day and help our children learn them.
