For the dinner table

This khutbah reminds us to seek Allah’s mercy, especially when the world feels full of suffering and difficulty. The khateeb shared stories of prophets who received Allah’s help in frightening situations, including Ibrahim in the fire and Yusuf in the well. He encouraged us to remember Allah and do good with awareness that Allah sees us. He also reminded us that seeking mercy means showing mercy to others, even when disagreements leave us hurt. As a family, we can practice forgiveness, care for one another, and ask Allah for His mercy and blessings.
