For the dinner table

The khutbah taught that the masjid deserves visible respect in how we dress, smell, enter, move, and care for the space. Everyone shares responsibility for cleaning up, including after children and community meals, and we should arrive calmly and park considerately. Simple nikah gatherings are welcome, but the masjid is not a place for banquet-style events, and during the khutbah we should put away phones and listen. The imam closed by asking Allah to help the sick, forgive the deceased, and ease the suffering of people in Palestine.
