Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah invited us to use Rabi' al-Awwal to get to know Prophet Muhammad more deeply, not only to repeat his name. We can learn from his words, teachings, Sunnah, seerah, and the Qur’an he received. Knowing his mercy, humility, forgiveness, and concern for people should grow our love for him, and real love should shape how we worship and treat others. We should honor him deeply while remembering that he is Allah’s servant and messenger, not divine. The khutbah ended by asking Allah to strengthen this love, bring relief to people suffering around the world, and heal the sick.
