The khutbah teaches that Islamic heritage is mainly people who believe in Allah, live with purpose, and show beautiful character. Ibrahim asked Allah for descendants who would submit to Him, and the Prophet Muhammad left behind companions who carried Islam through their lives. Parents preserve this heritage by spending time and effort teaching and raising their children with faith and character. Young people should think beyond personal comfort and look for ways to improve their communities and the wider world. The khutbah ends by asking Muslims to think of solutions for suffering people and to make dua for Sudan.
